OOTN: Dinner With My Other Family!

On Wednesday Josh, his Mum and Myself went up to Birmingham to visit Josh's Dad, who very kindly took us along with Josh's Uncle and Nanny out to dinner. The gorgeous dress that I wore to the dinner was the second mystery dress mentioned in my 'What I Got For My Birthday' post. Josh chose and bought me this massively figure flattering bodycon dress as part of my Birthday gifts, he seems to have a hidden talent for picking pretty dresses! I love this dress so much and would wear it all the time if I could. It hugs you in all the right places and the coral colour is going to complement my Mexico-induced tan perfectly when I take it on holiday with me in July. Thank You Joshie for picking me two amazing dresses, you da best! :)  I noticed that a few of my nails disappeared into my dress, a bit to co-ordinated I think! With this dress I wore my black pumps from Tesco as well as a black cardigan to keep me a little warmer on these chilly Spring evenings.

OOTN: My Birthday Dinner!

Please excuse the blurry-ness, my camera was not enjoying the print on this dress..

If anyone saw my 'What I Got For My Birthday' post you may have seen me mention the two mysterious dresses that my lovely boyfriend got me for my birthday.. Well, here is one of those dresses. It is beautiful. I wore this one on my Birthday for my meal out with my Boyfriend, Dad, Grandma, and Boyfriend's Mum. I love it because of the pretty flower pattern and because it's not something I would usually go for. I give Josh full credit for picking this out for me, you did good babe!
I wore my tesco 'tory burch knock off' flats as well as some tights as it is still quite chilly over here despite it being Spring! I am already looking forward to the next occasion I get to wear this to as it seems a waste to leave something this pretty in my wardrobe for ages!

A few pictures that my Dad took during dinner. Thank you to my Grandma for my uber pretty birthday cake!

Packing for an adventure: clothes edition!

So on Monday I am off on a mini holiday/adventure with Josh. We are heading down to Bognor Regis for a few days so Josh can train with pro body builder, Jamie Alderton (google him ladies, it's worth it!) and then we are travelling a little way back towards home to go to an amazing looking spa hotel for a few more days of pampering. Whilst we are there Josh is going to be driving some AMG Mercedes around brooklands race track at Mercedes benz world, I'm a little jealous..
I've been wanting to pack my bag for like a week just in case it makes the holiday come quicker. I thought I'd do a sort of "what's in my bag"/"holiday outfit choices" so here goes!
I've got to pack light for this trip so I've taken to packing basic things like leggings, jeggings and disco pants that can be swapped and changed around to create a few outfits, I will be taking a few more tops then the ones pictured but they are currently in the wash.
With those outfits I will be wearing my trusty red converse hi-tops or my leopard flats from missguided as well as my parka style jacket from tesco. Whilst in the spa my outfit of choice is going to be the bikini I received as a valentines present from Josh, its my new favourite one.
That's a little insight into my holiday outfits, fingers crossed it doesn't snow or rain as I haven't really accounted for those weather conditions!

Top - Marks & Spencer
Leggings - New Look
Jacket - F&F at Tesco
Socks - Marks & Spencer
Bag - Forever 21
Uggs - Marks & Spencer

So last week me and my boyfriend went on a little trip to London do some shopping and visit winter wonderland. We left on the train around 10am and got home at nearly 11pm so it was a super long and seriously enjoyable day! We headed into London's St Pancras then onto Harrods for a little mooch round which turned into a 4 hour shopping trip inside the gigantic shop. After that we went over to winter wonderland where I had an amazing time, we decided to do everything including the rides, ice skating, circus and magical ice kingdom. After a few hours in winter wonderland we then headed to oxford street for some late night shopping and my Christmas present trip to Victorias Secret! I have the best boyfriend ever who spent a small fortune on me in there for Christmas. Thanks baby, Love you! Everything was so amazing and christmassy. I had the one of the most perfect days with Josh :)

OOTD: Staple Leather Jacket!

Please excuse the rubbish quality photos, I am in the process of hunting down my camera charger so had to take these outfit pictures on my laptop webcam! I think it is the perfect time of year to buy or pull out your leather jackets on those crisp Autumn/Winter days when its not pouring down with rain. This is the first leather jacket I've owned and have pretty much worn it every day since my lovely dad bought it for me. Its perfect layered over the top of floaty t-shirts, dresses and even jumpers, worn with a thin or thick scarf when those chilling winds pick up its just right for keeping you toasty this time of year! My jacket and shirt are from the teen section at new look and as a guide, I am a size 8-10 and the shirt is a 13 year old and the jacket is 14-15 year old and both fit perfectly. All links are down below!

OOTD: Winter Boots!

Jumper: Debenhams - £30 - Link!
Jeggings: Debenhams - Now £19 -Link!
Boots: Timberland

You know its time to say goodbye to summer when you get in the car and your boyfriend points out that it is six degrees, SIX!! However, once I got over the shock drop in the temperature I realised that I'm quite looking forward to autumn/winter, wrapping up warm in jumpers and jeans, cuddling up at home when its frosty or pouring with rain outside and of course, Christmas is coming! I paired some comfy jeggings and a thick slouchy jumper with my knee high, dark brown, timberland boots which I wore to death over last autumn/winter. They are my go to when its a bit frosty or cold outside so expect to see them popping up a lot as the weather gets colder.

Malta OOTN #3!

Top: New Look
Skirt: New Look
Shoes: boohoo.com
This was my favourite outfit of the holiday. I looked around for a waterfall skirt for ages before coming across this one in new look in a nice jade green/turquoise colour. Paired with the tribal-esq top and my fake lita's.

Malta OOTN #2!

Shirt: Primark
Shorts: Hollister
Sandals: Forever 21
I love this outfit combination! Pairing the navy flowing shirt with the white denim is a perfect option. White is very flattering for a tan as well. The gold and white sandals from forever 21 were the best purchase I've made footwear wise, super comfy and super versatile.

Malta OOTN #1!

Top: Limited Collection at Marks & Spencer
Skirt: Limited Collection at Marks & Spencer
Sandals: Next
I wore this outfit on the first night to dinner. I liked matching the 'out there' lip print cropped blouse with a plain navy skirt to tone it down a little. I feel a little 70s in the tie up style top. The sandals from next are the most comfiest sandals in the world, I love the cross bar on the top. I know pink and red clash however the red was minimal and they were as far apart as possible!

OOTD: Summer, Summer, Summer time!

Yes, That's right, the summer is here for a few days so I am making the most of it by dusting off my  favourite summer items and wearing them on these gloriously warm days! I haven't got too much planned today except seeing my friend but of course it will take place outside because I can't waste this sunshine cooped up indoors. Anyway, I have a little OOTD for you today. Unfortunately the pictures aren't as great as I hoped due to the fact my camera is now flashing red at me because I have neglected to charge it recently (my fault completely) so sorry!
Playsuit; Angel at Marks & Spencer
Denim Jacket; Primark
Belt; Primark
Cowboy boots; Schuh
Bag; Louis Vuitton Speedy 35
I hope you all have a wonderful day with whatever you are doing and enjoy the sun if you've got it!

OOTN: Drinks!

Top: Primark
Shorts: Missguided
Boots: Boohoo.com
Clutch: Matalan
Please excuse the horrible eyebrows!
Eyes: Mac's 'Digit' & 'Stars & Rockets'
Face: Bourjois 123 perfect foundation
Cheeks: Mac 'Pinch o' Peach'
Lips: Topshop 'Rio Rio' lipstick

So on Thursday night I headed out on the town with a few of my friends, I hadn't been out for quite a while so it was nice to get out and have a laugh and a drink with everyone. I am not a big drinker as I really don't like the 'Alcohol' taste but finally I found something I like and that doesn't taste like alcohol, Strawberry and lime cider, so delicious. I was a good girl and only had one drink and was home by 12 due to having college at 9am the next morning.

OOTD: date with the bestie!

Cardigan; Debenhams
Top; New Look
Skirt; Forever 21
Tights; Tesco
Bag; New Look (Limited Ed)
Shoes; Primark

You may or may not be happy to know that this will hopefully be the last webcam quality OOTD as I am investing in a tripod for my camera to take some decent pictures for future OOTD posts, about time! I'm pretty sure that whenever I decide to do an outfit post Jasper has to go and photo bomb my pictures and as you can see, today is no different! Anyway, I am off out for lunch today with my best friend who I feel like I haven't seen in about a year and then I'm coming home to do some assignment work like a nerdy little student!
Hope you all have a good day!

Woburn Abbey; OOTD

Today me and my Grandma took a little trip to Woburn Abbey to have a mooch around. We've been meaning to go there for a while to have a look around the Abbey and today we finally managed it! I was going to do some outfit pictures actually at Woburn but it was raining quite bad when we got there so I took a few in my room before hand, hence the crappy lighting and blurryness of the pictures (sorry!) They will get better eventually!

Black Top; Marks & Spencer
Knitted Jacket; Marks & Spencer
Jeans; New Look
Shoes; Boohoo.com
Bag; Louis Vuitton, Speedy 35

Unfortunately you can't take pictures inside the Abbey its self which is such a shame because everything in there is so beautiful! I found it quite strange that hundreds of years ago people used to walk round there, eat at the dinner tables and sleep in the beds.
When we finished in the Abbey the sun had come out so we decided to have a bit of a wonder round one of the massive gardens and look at the sculptures they had, some for an art thing they have going on until August. I took a few pictures of that so I figured I'd share a few with you all. Me and my Grandma are already planning on going back when it gets a bit warmer to have a proper walk around all the gardens.

OOTD: Pre College Day.

Jumper; Pull&Bear
Jeggings; Hollister
Boots; Boohoo.com
My two new favourite additions to my wardrobe. The hollister jeggings are the most comfortable things in the world to wear on a casual day like today. I have been eyeing these types of shoes for the longest time and after getting them for my birthday I will wear them at any occasion, they are so comfy and easy to walk in. I nipped out quickly this morning to the doctors and was told I am suffering from a little mental and physical exhaustion which is just what you want to hear the day before you go back to college. Spending the rest of the day on the sofa watching some movies and trying to relax a little.
On My Face:
Urban Decay De Slick setting spray
Rimmel primer - Not Pictured
17 Miracle Matte Foundation - Fair
Collection 2000 concealer - Fair 1
Rimmel Match perfection powder - Ivory
MAC powder blush - Pinch O' Peach
Rimmel extra super lash mascara
Revlon lip butter - Cupcake

Birthday Shopping Haul

Me and my mum took a trip down (or up?) to Westfield Stratford for a serious dose of retail therapy and a chance for me to spend some of the pennies I got for my birthday on Monday. It is amazing there, we spent about 4 hours wondering around three floors and still managed to miss out a tonne of shops. We already have plans to go back soon, especially as there is a Victoria's Secret being built!
Blazer; missguided. Top; boohoo.com. Leggings; New Look. Boots; Schuh. Bag; New Look
I decided to dress fairly comfy so I went for leggings, a plain slightly cropped t-shirt and yes I am wearing leggings as trousers, I am sorry if that offends anyone but they are thick and you can't see my underwear through them! I went for my favourite cowboy boots and my new satchel, a birthday present to myself.
MAC. My first ever trip into a legit mac store, instead of a counter in debenhams. Took me nearly 10 minutes to find someone to help me but eventually I chose two eyeshadows for my pallet. On the left is 'Stars'N'Rockets' and on the right is 'Digit'. I successfully moved away from the neutrals and onto some actual colour! Both £10. BOOTS. 3 for 2 deals suck me in and force me to spend money. I chose three lip products I've wanted to try for a while, Collection 2000's Cream puff lipgloss in 'Candyfloss' a deepish pink colour (£2.99), A revlon lip butter in 'Cupcake' a light frosty pink shade (£7.99) and 17 beauty crush lipstain in 'Bombshell' a deep pink (4.99). HOLLISTER. I was determined not to buy any clothes from hollister and I succeeded (yay me!) instead I bought some of their body products purely because someone had sprayed this one and it smelt beautiful and fruity, my favourite. I chose the 'Solana beach' range, they were £10 each or three for £18 so I picked up the body spray, hand lotion and body lotion.
PULL&BEAR. I've never been in this shop before and I spotted so many things I wanted to buy but I settled on this jumper. I loved the pastel blue and pink on a cream background with the tribal-esq print. Already planning to pair this with some pale pink hot pants on the warmer days. (£19.99) NEXT. I love next bikini's so when I spotted this one I just had to have it! I love the pink and navy blue stripes together, very Jack Wills. I'm going to pair this with plain pink or navy bottoms I think. (£14) FOREVER21. I spotted this skirt on the end of the returns rack outside the fitting room, I hadn't seen it anywhere in the store and it was in my size, fate? I think so. It reminds me of something Mollie King (The Saturday's) wears and she is pretty much my style icon so I had to have it really (£14.75). I really loved the style of the sandals with the white and gold detailing. Me and mum recently decided on a holiday so I'm thinking ahead to how good they will look with a tan! (£6)
So I didn't get a massive amount and I still have money to spare so more hauls soon!

In other news I have leapt gracefully onto the Instagram bandwagon now its available on android (hooray!) so if you've got it then please follow me, my username is: ITSCHARRX I will be forever grateful and of course follow you back!

Birthday Weekend!

IT'S MY 19th BIRTHDAY!!
Dress; Quiz, FOTD, Leopard Wedges; Boohoo.com
So my birthday celebrations started on Saturday with my lovely friends from college and my besties. It involved a steady stream of alcohol, laughing and a bit of friendly competition on Just Dance 1&3. I finally got to wear my wedges that I've been wanting to wear for the longest time!
Leopard Wedges; Boohoo.com, Top; Debenhams, Skirt; Marks&Spencer, Charm Bracelet; Thomas Sabo, Ring; Disneyworld
I decided on a more casual outfit for lunch with my mum's side of the family on Sunday so I chose a high waisted skirt and floral shirt. I found another outfit I could wear my wedges with, twice in one weekend was a bonus. I got the Thomas Sabo bracelet for my 18th last year, its so pretty. Yes my ring really is from Disneyworld in Florida. I had a really nice meal and time with the family, as always!
My mum is the best. She made me One Direction cupcakes and a big cake (with my name on it) for my birthday. She put a lot of time and effort into getting the toppers and making them all. I was so happy and they were delicious! By the way, I really did turn 19.. :P
L-R: Birthday banners! Presents wrapped in One Direction paper and gift bag. Birthday card made by my friends on the back of a Corona box. One Direction birthday cards from friends & family. My birthday present to myself. LITA's (they are fakes but love them anyway) some MONEY! Classic red converse Hi-Tops. Legit One Direction pyjamas (for 14-15 year old's, I'm now 19.) from my dad.
Dress; Primark. Badge; Sainsbury's. Shoes; boohoo.com
So today I spent the day chilling at home and eating a tonne of junk before going out to dinner with my dads side of the family. Tasty! I wore a coral coloured butterfly dress from primark and my brand new Lita copies, they are so freaking comfy!
Tomorrow I am off to Westfield to do some serious shopping with my mum, so excited! Thank you for all the birthday wishes on previous posts and twitter, you lot are so lovely!
