Winter Wonderland OOTD!

Top - Marks & Spencer
Leggings - New Look
Jacket - F&F at Tesco
Socks - Marks & Spencer
Bag - Forever 21
Uggs - Marks & Spencer

So last week me and my boyfriend went on a little trip to London do some shopping and visit winter wonderland. We left on the train around 10am and got home at nearly 11pm so it was a super long and seriously enjoyable day! We headed into London's St Pancras then onto Harrods for a little mooch round which turned into a 4 hour shopping trip inside the gigantic shop. After that we went over to winter wonderland where I had an amazing time, we decided to do everything including the rides, ice skating, circus and magical ice kingdom. After a few hours in winter wonderland we then headed to oxford street for some late night shopping and my Christmas present trip to Victorias Secret! I have the best boyfriend ever who spent a small fortune on me in there for Christmas. Thanks baby, Love you! Everything was so amazing and christmassy. I had the one of the most perfect days with Josh :)

Holiday Time!

By the time you this post goes up and you are reading it I will probably be lying out on a sun bed in the blistering heat of Malta accompanied by my mum, auntie Sharon and cousin Ashleigh. We were on a plane at 6:50am this morning, I haven't seen 4am for a long time so being awake by then killed me! It feels like forever since I've been away so its safe to say that I was very much looking forward to getting away on this holiday. The only downside is a week without my boyfriend who I have seen pretty much every single day for the last like four weeks! safe to say I shall miss him (even if he thinks I wont) Fear not, I have a load of scheduled posts that will be up pretty much every day this week, I'm not sure on the internet situation so I will probably go on a comment replying spree when I get home so don't think I'm rude if I don't reply for a few days!

Hope you all have a lovely week!

Adventure Time!

Me and my boyfriend go on a fair few adventures from late night Tesco trips in our pyjamas to a four day adventure to see Josh's dad. We left on Monday night after Josh finished work and after two hours in the car, seeing the biggest tesco in the world (no, seriously, it's absolutely massive) and getting a little tour of the area we arrived at Josh's dad's house. After one of the nicest pizza's I've had in a long time we chilled, watched movies and ate junk food. Josh decided it would be a good idea to get me to try some hot sauce, I say hot sauce it's more like fire in a bottle. Being the sympathetic boyfriend that he is he laughed as I cried.. (tut tut) Tuesday, I got my butt absolutely kicked at bowling, however I did manage to win one game (just) and only because Josh was being a good boyfriend a bowling left handed instead of right handed, a win is a win! We saw 'Rock Of Ages' in the coolest cinema, which had sofa's at the back and they gave you like nachos and sweets during the film, worth the extra money paid for it cause it was super comfy. I found a gooden' with Josh cause he is an amazing cook, he makes the best fajitas everrrrr, yum! Wednesday was our last proper day in which we shopped, chilled and then went out for a meal with some of Josh's family at a very nice Chinese restaurant. Before dinner we stopped off at the weirdest pub I've ever seen in my life, its called the Crooked House and it literally is crooked, makes you feel a bit tipsy when you walk inside. I was shown how if you roll a marble along the top of a chair it rolls up instead of down, god knows how it's done, strange!

A little while back I was at a place in my life that was far from great but Josh came along and has made every day happy and positive ever since. I haven't been this happy in a long time and it's all thanks to him! Thank you Joshie, Love you!

A Little Update!

When you read this I will be in Birmingham on day 2 of my little adventure with my boyfriend which I am super happy about. I thought I would give you guys a little update on my life cause I have been pretty AWOL from blogging so why not let you all know!? Where do I start..
I finished college last Monday which was sad saying goodbye to two amazing years of education which really shone through in the grades I managed to achieve. I walked out comfortably with two distinction* which is the highest grades you can get. All through school I fell into the middle or bottom bands when it came to grades so to leave with the highest grade possible makes me so unbelievably proud of myself. To top it all off I got an award for being the "outstanding student of the year" in my tutor, ooh yeaaaaaahhh! Here's to 6+ weeks of summer, bring on the sunshine!
Me and Mum finally sold our house! After it being on the market for 5 months and many disagreements with one estate agent we swapped to another one and they sold it within two weeks, you go elevations! Right now we are on the hunt for our new perfect home. It's going to be a sad day when we have to pack up and leave but it's best for everyone to leave this home and all the bad memories behind and move on with our lives. Besides, I'm thinking of a Moving House Series featuring lots of interesting posts when it all kicks off!
I am heading off to Malta in three weeks time with my mum, aunty and cousin for a girls holiday. I am super excited to get away, get some proper sunshine and see where my mum and aunty spent some of their childhood. It's going to be a good trip however I am probably going to miss my boy! Currently I am attempting to plan outfits for the holiday as normally I just chuck a load of clothes in a case and never think whether they go together or not. This year I will consider it first before packing them up!
I am a bit of a "reality" tv junkie so I am looking forward to Geordie Shore coming back, it's bound to be hilarious. Slightly disappointed that so much good tv has finished though! Bye bye One Tree Hill, Desperate Housewives, Towie and Made In Chelsea.. I've got really into Smash (the grown up Glee) which is a goodun'
Anyway, that is what's been going on recently. Back to blogging like I used to!

It's the final countdown!

dunununuuu dununununuu! *sing it*
The last two years of education have been the best two years, ever. I hated school with a passion despite having amazing friends it just wasn't for me so I left and started studying Sports Science at college. In September 2010 I joined a huge group of people in a really unfamiliar place, sitting in the sports hall feeling ridiculously nervous because I knew no one, not cool. We eventually got separated into our new classes and after a few sessions of 'ice breakers' the class had bonded pretty well. For the next two years our class was really close, we had our odd off moments but we sorted them pretty quickly and things remained the same. I probably would never have managed to get through the last two years if it wasn't for the girls, Kelly, Siobhan and Ellie, we have been the "Awesome Foursome!" and they have become like my best friends. Each day was guaranteed to be full of laughs and some seriously hilarious banter especially between Kelly and Siobhan. These girls have made the last two years bearable, hilarious and fun, I actually enjoy going to college just because of them, my god am I going to miss them! The teachers at college are so different to the teachers at school because they treat you like friends. It has been so easy to mess around with them, joke with them and talk to them when things get serious, nothing would make you feel as comfortable as that. Some, well I'd say one, is an idiot who I will not miss but there is a few that I will miss because they are so funny and nice. What's more fun then watching your teacher "wrestle" with a student and then attempting to throw you over his shoulder? nothing, cause crazy stuff like that doesn't happen at school!

On Monday I am going into college for the final day of my course, I'll be saying goodbye to some amazing friends who I genuinely hope to stay in contact with, to the teachers who have helped me achieve my best results I've ever had and to the best two, educational, years I've ever had.
I hate saying goodbye.

Letters To Some Friends

My best friend of 9 years!
What the hell would I do without you! You have been my rock for the last 9 years of our life. keeping me sane, listening to me moan about life and laughing at all my hella amazing jokes because I'm 'Fxking hilarious!' We spent every single day together from the day I showed you around middle school on your first day, right up until we left secondary school together. Despite us going to different colleges we still make time for to see each other for weekly catch ups, plus texting most days about mostly pointless things just for a chat. You have been like my sister for 9 years and I can't thank you enough for everything you've ever done for me! I love you :) x

My College bestie!
Oh. My. God. You make me die laughing sometimes like seriously. You come out with the most random things and they are always lolable. I like that we mostly talk about the eyecandy ;) and instead of doing our work in computer lessons we just watch Vampire Diaries or America's Next Top Model yet still get distinctions on our work cause we are #professionals at everything! It's been a real nice two years with you and your "African Sunset Blonde hair!" even if you try and wind me up sometimes! :) #WOOHOO! love yaa x

Bloggers!
When I started blogging I never realised how nice the blogging community really is! Every single person who has followed or commented on my blog have always been so nice. It really makes me want to carry on blogging forever! I am determined to meet a lot of you in the next few years to really get to know the people behind the blogs. Thank you so much! big love xc

Mystery.
You make me smile and you don't even know it.

Birthday Weekend!

IT'S MY 19th BIRTHDAY!!
Dress; Quiz, FOTD, Leopard Wedges; Boohoo.com
So my birthday celebrations started on Saturday with my lovely friends from college and my besties. It involved a steady stream of alcohol, laughing and a bit of friendly competition on Just Dance 1&3. I finally got to wear my wedges that I've been wanting to wear for the longest time!
Leopard Wedges; Boohoo.com, Top; Debenhams, Skirt; Marks&Spencer, Charm Bracelet; Thomas Sabo, Ring; Disneyworld
I decided on a more casual outfit for lunch with my mum's side of the family on Sunday so I chose a high waisted skirt and floral shirt. I found another outfit I could wear my wedges with, twice in one weekend was a bonus. I got the Thomas Sabo bracelet for my 18th last year, its so pretty. Yes my ring really is from Disneyworld in Florida. I had a really nice meal and time with the family, as always!
My mum is the best. She made me One Direction cupcakes and a big cake (with my name on it) for my birthday. She put a lot of time and effort into getting the toppers and making them all. I was so happy and they were delicious! By the way, I really did turn 19.. :P
L-R: Birthday banners! Presents wrapped in One Direction paper and gift bag. Birthday card made by my friends on the back of a Corona box. One Direction birthday cards from friends & family. My birthday present to myself. LITA's (they are fakes but love them anyway) some MONEY! Classic red converse Hi-Tops. Legit One Direction pyjamas (for 14-15 year old's, I'm now 19.) from my dad.
Dress; Primark. Badge; Sainsbury's. Shoes; boohoo.com
So today I spent the day chilling at home and eating a tonne of junk before going out to dinner with my dads side of the family. Tasty! I wore a coral coloured butterfly dress from primark and my brand new Lita copies, they are so freaking comfy!
Tomorrow I am off to Westfield to do some serious shopping with my mum, so excited! Thank you for all the birthday wishes on previous posts and twitter, you lot are so lovely!

Birthday Wishlist!

Nicki Minaj OPI mini's. Viva La Juicy perfume. MAC's 'Watch me simmer' Lipstick. Topshop crochet hotpants. Juicy couture Ipad2 case. Red converse Hi-Tops. Niall Horan.

It's my birthday soon (9th April) who's excited? I AM! I'm going to be 19 but I really don't feel that old. It is around this time where people start asking me what I would like for my birthday so I decided to put together a little wishlist of the things that I wouldn't mind unwrapping on B'Day.

I have been eyeing swatches of the nicki minaj opi collection for the longest time and when I found the mini's on amazon I instantly wanted them, a must have on the birthday wishlist. I currently have the smaller Viva La Juicy perfume but it is down to its last drops so it kind of needs replacing and what perfect time to do it than my birthday? I have become a sucker for mac recently so surprise surprise its on here! I spotted the shop mac lipstick collection and 'watch me simmer' struck me straight away as a must have. How pretty are those shorts? I may buy them myself before my birthday as I'm kind of pining for them. I have wanted the Juicy Couture ipad2 case since Christmas, its a hardback case and I have been wanting one of those for a while. My favourite pink converse have a hole in them *crys* so my grandma ever so kindly offered to buy me a red pair for my birthday thanks to some hint dropping from me, yay! Finally, If anyone would like to deliver Niall Horan from One Direction to my house on my birthday I would appreciate it. He is a cutie!

February Favourites!

I'm back! Before I get into my favourites I just want to say a MASSIVE thank you to all of you who left such lovely comments on my last post. It is so nice to know that there are such nice people out there who are essentially still strangers who care enough to say such nice things which have honestly really helped me stay positive. I'm doing okay now and I think my mum is getting there too, I'm still talking to my dad like normal which is also nice. THANK YOU!!

1. Neutrogena deep clean scrub. 2. EOS lipbalm. 3. Topshop 'show off' lipstick, 4. 17 Miracle Matte foundation. 5. Z- Pallet.
1. I have recently rediscovered neutrogena face scrub which I am super glad I did. My skin has been pretty dry recently and haven't really thought of using an exfoliant to actually clear the dead skin cells until I spotted this in my junk drawer in my bathroom. I use this every other time I shower, it is a soft exfoliant which leaves your skin feeling cool and clean once it has been washed off. I have found that my skin looks a little brighter after use too which has been nice to see.
2. Since getting my braces lipbalms have been my best friends, I apply my mint chocolate one at night and reach for my EOS one first thing in the morning. The scent is my favourite things about it because it is so sweet and fruity which wakes me up and leaves me feeling summery all day as well as keeping my lips moisturised and therefore less likely to get ripped by my brace. I wish EOS was available here.
3. The topshop 'show off' lipstick was one of my first purchases from the topshop make up range and was also my first 'less safe' lipstick colour as it is a pretty hot pink. Weirdly I think it smells like jelly beans, which I love. The colour is so pigmented and I find that it lasts for such a long time that you hardly need to reapply. I wear this lippie quite a lot since finding it in my make up drawer this month.
4. I have done a full on rave about this foundation right here which you can read if you are curious about the product. To sum it up this foundation is so light to apply and feels like its barely on the skin yet gives medium to heavy coverage, as someone with acne I am impressed with how well it hides things. It's oil free, doesn't dry out the skin and costs £6. What more could you want!?
5. The Z pallet has been a fun little project for me to do, it took me around 2 days to complete. I de potted 5 out of my six MUA pallets into the Z pallet. I am going to do a full post on de-potting and the Z pallet soon so I shan't say too much here! Look out for that.

That was my February Favourites! I hope you enjoyed and perhaps found something you liked.

The End.(?)

The 3rd March was possibly the worst day of my entire life. When my dad dropped me off at work and said “I will see you at 8, hopefully” I thought nothing of it because as far as I was aware there was absolutely nothing wrong in our family life. Boy was I wrong. When my dad picked me up from work at 8pm he asked me how my day was I said fine and asked him how his was, expecting a "yeah, okay" in reply. That was not the case. Instead he pulled the car over in the carpark and began to apologize to me, telling me he didn't want me to hate him but he had decided to leave my mum. I felt numb, I still feel numb. I wanted to cry but I just couldn't find any tears. We sat and talked about it and I told him I could never hate him because he's my dad at the end of the day. When I got home I sat with my mum and cried, a hell of a lot, she was just as shocked as me. I didn't know what to do with myself, what to think. Are we going to have to sell the house? Where will my dad go? How on earth will we get through this!?  It was hard for my mum and dad to come to the decision that dad should stay at my grandma's (his mums) because there was no cheating involved and there is no one else involved so it was hard for my mum to scream, shout and kick him out so he stayed last night, but slept downstairs.

This morning me and mum went out to tell my grandma and granddad (her mum and dad) and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to listen to. I have never heard my mum cry so hard and so much when she told my granddad and he just comforted her and asked all the questions he needed to. I cried whilst I told my grandma and made her promise me that she would stay strong for my mum like I am trying so hard to do. I was so proud that my grandma barely cried a tear, despite how upset she is, just for my mum. My mum needs me now more than she has ever needed me before. I never in 3 million years thought this was ever going to happen with my family but it has and I just don't know what to do now. Because of this there is no longer going to be adoption which has devastated us all but it would be completely unfair to bring a child into a situation like this nor would social services even let it happen. I am sorry to anyone who was following for the adoption stuff.

In all honesty I know in the long run we will all be completely fine but for now I guess we are all adjusting to the initial shock and change. I'm not sure how many blog posts will be up this week because I'm not feeling motivated to blog but I guess it will help distract me a little. I don't want anyone to think I am attention seeking, I just really needed to get this all out somewhere where I'm not looking at a crying face. If you aren't interested in this then sorry!

Keeping My Life Organised

A lot of you are probably thinking that this is a weird post to do but if you happen to be anything like I was then you may find this helpful. Now, I'm still not perfect at keeping organised but I try, I have to say that the amount of times I have double booked a day have minimised now thanks to my little organisation board.

I got this half whiteboard half pin board from staples a couple of months ago and I am finding it super handy. It even has a little pen holder on it! Please note that some things on the whiteboard part (work & to do) are made up for demonstration purposes. I have been pretty good at getting all my jobs done recently.
(Sorry about the rubbish lighting, it was dark when I took the pictures)

On the whiteboard side I have split it into three sections, college, work and to do. I find it really useful that way because everything is clear and not all mixed together so I don't miss doing assignments or extra hours at work ectt.. On the college side I tend to put the assignments I have left to complete. On the work side I put in any extra hours I am working. Obviously the 'To Do' section is where I put jobs that need doing or places I need to go to.
On the pin board section I keep a tissue pinned to it for wiping things off the whiteboard side, super handy, a long with extra pins. The piece of paper on the left is where I write down what online orders I am waiting for so I don't forget. The one on the right is my little blogging schedule, I am obsessed with writing lists and things so I quite like writing out posts I want to do each week. I also have a couple of pictures of my boyfriend and a fortune from a fortune cookie. The notebook hanging from the bottom is used for replacing the two bits stuck on the board already. If I am ever wondering what to blog about or what jobs need doing on any day I can literally look at this board and it tells me everything. I am so obsessed with lists that I have a blog book which is always kept neat and organised so if anyone wants to see how I do that then let me know in the comments.
I hope someone, somewhere found this the slightest bit useful.

Mini Update!

Hello lovely people! Sorry I have been a bit MIA recently I have been pretty busy. First off there is college. For some reason teachers think its okay to spring deadlines on us for three days later and expect everything to be completed. Two of my teachers have done that, so not cool. I am now in the process of working my butt off to get every part of two assignments completed by Friday which turns out its a lot of work. As if that isn't bad enough it's assessment time so I have two practical assessments in sports massage and in instructing physical activity coming up soon which I am attempting to remember everything for so I don't mess up and fail! Unfortunately because of this my blog has been put on the back burner for a little while whilst I attempt to knock out a tonne of work. I am sorry about the lack of posts recently, it's slightly annoying that I have had a fair few posts planned yet no time to get them up. Rescheduling is becoming a bit packed now!

Because of all of this I have decided that on my day off tomorrow I am going to attempt to get at least five posts drafted or scheduled for the next couple of weeks so I'm not attempting to juggle work and blogging yet still giving all my wonderful followers something to read. Hence the mini update you are reading right now, I missed blogging! I am so much more motivated to blog then I am to actually do my work which I think it's the normal vibe from most busy bloggers!

One more thing. I am addicted to Vampire Diaries. I got season 1 and season 2 for Christmas and only yesterday did I get round to actually watching it. Right now I am on episode 10 of season 1 and I actually love it! Right now I am Team Stefan but my friend at college told me that I will change my opinion later on in season 2 or 3. As of right now Damon is an arse so stefan it is! Sorry this post has been super rambling but I think that's because I have been missing blogging!

Hope you all have had a lovely day

A Little Post About Life

Ever since I was a little girl I’ve always wanted to be a PE teacher. I used to play ‘teachers’ all the time, there would be registers of made up names everywhere in the house, little bits of paper “work sheets” in every draw. It wasn’t till recently that my future plans changed. I passed all my GCSEs with good results and went straight into the sixth form of my school because it was the thing to do, and because I really hadn’t researched any other routes. I lasted a year, my two PE teachers turned into complete arse holes and I began to hate my PE lessons, it became quite serious. I would feel sick, light headed or have a headache before and during the entire lesson because I just did not want to be there, sometimes I wouldn’t even go to school on the days I had double lessons.  I spoke to my parents and my tutor and decided that it was best for me to leave after I had taken my AS levels and go to college. Safe to say I got awful AS results because I had no motivation to try, I didn’t even pick up my results, they got sent to me because I forgot about them. Leaving for college was the best decision I have EVER made.

Everything about college made me happy. My class are the loveliest group of people ever and we all get on so well, unlike school where there are cliques. The attitude is a lot more relaxed and the teachers actually care about the students and less about what grades they can get to make the school look good. It was going to college that made me rethink my direction in life. I scrapped the PE teacher idea because I didn’t want to end up an ass hole like mine were. I now want to be a personal trainer, next year I am going to study 3 courses in personal training, health and nutrition and sports massage and I’m not going to university. It’s just not for me. My family have always been into touring car racing and recently it clicked that I would love to specialise in working specifically with racing drivers in the motor sport industry as a personal trainer, as well as being able to give them health and nutrition advice and fix any muscle injuries.

I work part time every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in my local city centre in a shop, I used to enjoy it but these days I’m really only in it for the money while I’m studying. I don’t see my family as much as I would like to because I work all weekend every weekend and that gets me down. I can’t wait for the day where I can wake up on the first day of doing a job that I actually have an interest in, turn up, start my day thinking “Wow, I’ve finally made it. I’m living my working dream”

Until then, I continue to study hard and get the best grades I can get so I can go to an interview and say “No, I didn’t go to university and get a degree but look what else I can offer your company!”

Here’s to 2012, and the next steps!
