My Everyday MakeUp Routine!

I love watching everyday makeup routine videos but when you aren't a youtuber there is only so much you can do with a camera! Welcome to my blogger version of my everyday makeup routine on the occasion I actually wear it..
I always reach for my Urban Decay De Slick first to banish the oily skin. I follow that with one pea sized pump of Urban Decay's Naked Skin foundation smoothed in with my Real Techniques powder brush.
I have quite bad dark circles under my eyes so I apply a little bit of benefit's erase paste under my eyes with a topshop concealer brush and a little dab of my finger. To get a little bit of colour from Benefit's Havanna blush on my cheek bones.
Lastly I tackle my very minimal eye look with a couple of coats of my favourite mascara, Barry M Lash Vegas and a dab of Revlon Lip Butter in Cupcake and that is my very minimal and probably very boring make up routine!

My Everyday Make Up

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation - £27.00, Urban Decay Good Karma brush £19.50, Collection 2000 mascara £2.99, EOS Lipbalm £4.99

I feel like I haven't done a make up related post in ages, that makes me a bad beauty blogger. *slaps wrist* I feel like it might be time to do a sort of mini updated everyday make up routine even though I don't actually wear make up everyday..
My make up has become somewhat minimal with it consisting only of three actual products and one brush.
On my face I have started to use Urban Decay's 'Naked Skin' liquid foundation which I received for Christmas last year. Despite being (poorly) matched at an Urban Decay counter to a shade 3, which made me look a little on the orange side, I re-matched myself down to a shade 2 that happens to be a perfect match to my actual skin tone. Urban Decay describe this foundation as 'weightless' and I have to agree, you can barely tell its on your skin unlike some foundations that can feel like you've packed on the whole tube even if you haven't.
I apply the foundation with Urban Decay's 'Optical blurring' brush, another fabulous creation by those make up masterminds! I love this brush. It's super soft, cleans easily and does exactly what it says on the tube. It blurs any imperfection perfectly to hide them away and make them less noticeable and for someone with problem skin like me you can't ask for much more.
For eyes I'm currently using the collection 2000 'Longer lash lengthening' mascara. I am really liking this for long, bold yet still natural looking lashes. Of course I am still relying on every beauty bloggers essential the EOS lip balm, mine is the passion fruit one, yummy!

Urban Decay Naked Pallet Dupes for £8!!

I know that everyone raves about how amazing the Naked Pallet is and I agree it is but not everyone can fork out the £35 it costs to own it. I'm sure I'm not the first person to talk about some dupes for it but I wanted to let you guys know how you can get the 12 Naked Pallet colours and some more for only £8! Yes, that's right, under a tenner! Here's how..
I'm sure you've all seen this pallet before:
I based my research on the company MUA: Make Up Academy, from superdrug, which offer a 12 colour pallet for only £4. I finally managed to get the Heaven and Earth Pallet by MUA after trying for months and as soon as I got it I was like "This is perfectttt!" so I teamed it with the Starry Night Pallet by MUA to create my dupes. You keen mathematicians may be thinking "but that's 24 colours!" Yes, it is but I shall show you which colours I used to create the Naked Pallet!
Please excuse my trampy writing I wanted to get it finished before 11pm! So in the left hand column is all of the Naked Pallet shades and on the right the MUA pallet shades I used. You are probably looking at the MUA side like "What is shade 1,2,3 ectt" Fear not! Here are some useful, I hope, labelled pictures..
From the Heaven & Earth pallet I used shade 1,2,3,5,6,7,8,11,12. For the shade 'Hustle' I used a mixture of shade 5 from Heavent & Earth and shade 11 from Starry Night.
I only used two colours from the Starry Night pallet which were shade 3 and shade 6. Obviously I only used a selection of the 2 pallets so for under £10 you get some seriously close dupes as well as around 14 other colours for you to use any other time!
I hope you found this useful if you've been looking around for something similar. If you could move the colours around to have the 12 dupes in one pallet that would be even better! Please don't steal my pictures, I worked hard on this post for you girls.
While I was writing this post I saw the Coke advert, Christmas is officially here! Yaay! :)

I Got Naked!

No, not that kind of naked! The Urban Decay kind...

 LEFT TO RIGHT:
Virgin, Sin, Naked, Side car, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Darkhorse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Hustle (both hidden, see pictures below.)

I picked up this pallet after hearing rediculous amounts of raves about how amazing it is, and trust me, it really is amazing! I am one for wearing quite neutral, natural colours and I don't think you can achieve that look any better then you can with this pallet. I had seen that debenhams were doing a crazy up to 25% off sale on near enough the whole store, so I seized the moment and went to the Urban Decay counter to discover that it was all 10% off so I paid only £31.50 instead of the usual £35! (woo!) I have pretty much used this every single day since I got it and am even considering getting a back up or at least a few of my favourite colours, hopefully, however some are exclusive to the pallet :(
I love that the pallet comes with a mini primer potion and a eye shadow brush which are both brilliant. The brush is soooooo soft! I think I may need to invest in some more Urban Decay brushes in the future. (Excuse my brush, its a bit dirty. Post on brush cleaning to follow at some point in the future..)

Sorry about the picture heavy post, I'm sure you've all seen what the pallet looks like before!
What's your holy grail eyeshadow colour, from any brand?
