Adventure Time!

Me and my boyfriend go on a fair few adventures from late night Tesco trips in our pyjamas to a four day adventure to see Josh's dad. We left on Monday night after Josh finished work and after two hours in the car, seeing the biggest tesco in the world (no, seriously, it's absolutely massive) and getting a little tour of the area we arrived at Josh's dad's house. After one of the nicest pizza's I've had in a long time we chilled, watched movies and ate junk food. Josh decided it would be a good idea to get me to try some hot sauce, I say hot sauce it's more like fire in a bottle. Being the sympathetic boyfriend that he is he laughed as I cried.. (tut tut) Tuesday, I got my butt absolutely kicked at bowling, however I did manage to win one game (just) and only because Josh was being a good boyfriend a bowling left handed instead of right handed, a win is a win! We saw 'Rock Of Ages' in the coolest cinema, which had sofa's at the back and they gave you like nachos and sweets during the film, worth the extra money paid for it cause it was super comfy. I found a gooden' with Josh cause he is an amazing cook, he makes the best fajitas everrrrr, yum! Wednesday was our last proper day in which we shopped, chilled and then went out for a meal with some of Josh's family at a very nice Chinese restaurant. Before dinner we stopped off at the weirdest pub I've ever seen in my life, its called the Crooked House and it literally is crooked, makes you feel a bit tipsy when you walk inside. I was shown how if you roll a marble along the top of a chair it rolls up instead of down, god knows how it's done, strange! 


A little while back I was at a place in my life that was far from great but Josh came along and has made every day happy and positive ever since. I haven't been this happy in a long time and it's all thanks to him! Thank you Joshie, Love you!

A Peek At My Week (#8/#9)

I have been a bit awol on the blogging front recently but I will be back soon cause college is nearly over and I will be free for three whole months! I have been working pretty hard on getting as much work done as quickly as possible so I can get on with enjoying this extremely typical English "summer." Speaking of summer, the few days of heat we did have I was out in my beetle with the roof down just because I can, felt like a proper girly girl but hey, it's my dream car so why not drive it with pride? I have been switching up my nails a little the last two weeks due to getting in the patriotic mood with the Jubilee and such. I went to a street/garden party which was so lovely despite the poopy weather. I became a little messy and invested in those highly functional floordrobes which has housed the content of my wardrobe and drawers over the past couple of weeks due to me becoming a tad lazy..

A Peek At My Week (#8)

Finally on the last Harry Potter book/ Healthy eating/ Clean brushes/ Blue skies/ OOTD/ Cards/ Another OOTD/ My tanning area in the back garden/ I went shopping.

How hot has it been this week? Hotter than Spain apparently. I have never been so happy to say goodbye to the rain for a few days and welcome the lovely hot sunshine with open arms, so much so that my arms are a little burnt. (Note to self: always listen to mum when she tells you to put sun cream on..) I spent nealy all my free time basking in the heat in my back garden whilst reading magazines and keeping up with lots of blogs on my Ipad. I have broken out the shorts and have been wearing a different summer themed outfit every day just to get my full use of my favourite part of my wardrobe before the rain heads back to dampen the mood (great pun, ey?) I am heading off on holiday in 6 or 7 weeks so I am attempting to cut out the junk food a little so I can have a bit of a bikini bod during my week away, not as easy as it sounds, I have a rather obsessed sweet tooth. I went shopping this morning with my mum and Debenhams are having a 10% off all beauty & fragrance deal at the moment so me & my £10 voucher stopped off at MAC and I picked up a couple of items from their 'Hey, Sailor' collection which I will be doing a post on later in the week, I think. I am just about to head out of the door to get a shoulder, neck and back massage because I am so tense and my back is quite painful then I'm off to my aunties house with my mumma for a BBQ in the sunshine with all my family! Perfect summer activity.

A Peek At My Week (#7)

Another Saturday, another peek at my week. This week has been quite work related, once again one of my teachers told us on Tuesday that our assignment was due in on Friday so I spent most days attempting to complete it and 4 pages later I managed to hand it in on Friday! On Monday I  received my first shoe order from Daisystreet.co.uk, I already have a wishlist started for my next order because all the shoes on there are so so nice and affordable. I met up with Matt this week too which was nice just to sit and chat. I managed to get a horrible cold last weekend which is refusing to fully leave me alone, I'm over the worst bit aka not being able to breathe and sounding like an idiot when I talk but its been a nearly a week now and I'm still feeling it a little. A peek at my week is not complete without a picture of my dog, this week I am spoiling you with 2 and some cats, I had to snap a picture of the three of them within 2 metres of each other the other day because normally they can't stand being anywhere near Jasper. Speaking of Jasper, I took him to the groomers, boy does he love being in the car! He sprints to the car, leaps in and sits staring out the front window the whole way. I went to see the Avengers on Wednesday, what an amazing film! I am your typical rom-com, chick flick kinda girl but give me a superhero movie and I will watch it happily, especially Captain America, he's hot. Lastly, Yesterday I was featured on Bloggers.com as one of the "Editor's Picks of the Day" I know that so so so many get featured on bloggers.com's twitter page ect but to see me on the home page as an Editors pick was actually quite an achievement for me and my little blog! I'm proud of it.

A Peek At My Week (#6)

It's been a week of buying new things this week, like most weeks really. On Sunday me and mum went to my grandma and granddads house for dinner, my feet were killing after work so I decided to reach for the comfort of my slippers to go out in, does anyone else do that? First lot of purchases were done by my mum who decided to treat me to a few things, FINALLY got my waterfall skirt that I have been searching for for months! My signature dish has got to be scrambled egg and beans on toast, so delicious, professional chef? I think so! Costa has just opened in the town near college so me and the girls took a trip down and I got the new strawberry lemonade, oh.my.god. it is so freaking nice! New favourite drink from there for the summer! Missguided Emailed me to let me know the shoes I've been lusting after for ages were back in stock but when I went on the website they were already sold out again in my size :( Every time I go shopping when I'm hungry I seem to get sucked down the sweetie isle, cue me buying more than I really need just because everything looks so good. I did a CNL on the nails in the picture on Thursday so feel free to have a better look at those! On Thursday night I went out for drinks with some friends, I was a good girl and only had 1 due to me not being a massive fan of the 'alcohol' taste and because I had college at 9am on Friday, That was the outfit I wore (maybe an OOTD coming soon!) Finally, my biggest purchase, a little something from Enrapture! I love it and I will be reviewing it soon. What is it? Can you guess!? ;)

A Peek At My Week (#4)

Reached 10,000 page views/ Busy day's/ Woburn Abbey/ Pretty Sunset/ Chinese/ Ducks at college/ Trying to be healthy/ My last glossybox/ Addicted to the Logo quiz.

I finally reached 10,000 page views which is like a massive milestone for me cause that's a fair bit of traffic through my little blog/ I find I'm more motivated to work if I make 'To Do' lists because I get a little kick from crossing them off when they are done/ Woburn Abbey is so beautiful to visit, well worth it/ Despite the 'drought' excessive amount of rain we've had recently I did manage to get a nice picture of a real pretty sunset this week/ Yummy Chinese/ There are a little family of ducks in the courtyard-y bit of college, one of my lecturers is happy about that cause he loves ducks/ I'm trying to be healthy, sometimes/ Got my last glossybox yesterday, I say last because I'm thinking of unsubscribing and spending £12.95 on something I actually know I will use/ I am addicted to playing the logos quiz on my Ipad after seeing Kelly at college playing it (briefly)

A Peek At My Week (#3)

Been a pretty busy week this week with college assignments due in and travelling up to Birmingham. I did a little bit of shopping this week after getting excited about going on holiday, I felt the need to stock up on some summer clothes. I'm trying to put a lot more effort into OOTD posts and do a few more of them, a little behind the scenes picture from this post of my camera set up, yes it is balancing on a bin. My mum went out for the night on Tuesday so I decided to have a movie night all by myself watching some of my favourites and stuffing my face with onion rings. On Thursday me and my best friend had a road trip up to Birmingham in my little beetle 'Daisy' to see McFly! The gig was amazing as always and I got a cheeky bit of eye contact with Danny (yummy!) When we were driving home we saw a tour bus broken down on the side of the road and joked about how we should pull over and pretend to be broken down in case it was McFly. I then saw this Tweet when I got home. Turns out it was them, we are both kicking ourselves that we didn't stop!

A Peek At My Week (#2)

Wearing my birthday badge on Monday for my 19th/ Doing some damage in Westfield Stratford with my Mum/My parents call me spud, apparently named after the SpudULike restaurant and I finally got to eat at one/Got my first tattoo on Wednesday for my granddad who died before I was born, I'm always told he is the brightest star in the sky/ My dog just casually chilling in my bath, seems to be his new favourite place/ Eating my last one direction cupcake, yummy Louis.

I'm thinking of making this a new regular feature, every Saturday, on my blog. Now that Instagram has been launched for Android I can take a whole load of pictures of the week. I know a tonne of people do them but I like reading them so why not do one of my own?

A Peek At My Week (#1)

Yes, that's right. I'm jumping on the 'week in pictures' type posts but I think these are great posts to act as like a diary to go back on and see what fun things we all got up to. I'm doing mine more based around writing and less about pictures. I'm thinking some weeks I may not include a load of pictures and just write about my week. Who knows, but here is number 1 of the 'My Week In Words & Pictures (sometimes).

SUNDAY: I worked all day, the usual. I then went to Matt's house for a lovely evening of cuddles, he lets me watch The Only Way Is Essex even when he says he hates it! MONDAY: Matt made me and him bacon rolls in bed, yum! Then we did a little shopping to replace the two glasses I broke last week as well as the new 17 foundation which I have reviewed. When I got home I went to the post office to pick up this months Glossybox (review to come soon) TUESDAY: My first day back at college after half term, I started bio-mechanics and the name alone sounds hard! It was also pancake day so I made pancakes for me and my dad because my mum was out.I made the decision to go to the one direction tour with my cousin after watching them on the brits. WEDNESDAY: I had to throw all my mascaras away after the out of date ones irritated my eyes so I purchased two from the collection 2000 range (review soon) I decided to go and see 'The Vow' with my mum and her friend and I nearly cried in the cinema. Standard. THURSDAY: I had the most hilarious psychology lesson ever, I was literally crying laughing. When your teacher says 'and Tom has a massive.. issue with confidence, this effects his performance' and we have an immature class of 18 & 19 year olds. FRIDAY: I GOT TICKETS TO SEE ONE DIRECTION in the 02 pre-sale, I was verrrry happy! I'm taking my cousin which is super fun. Pretty happy with the seats too! :) SATURDAY: I was working all day. fun stuff.
