Primark Gym Clothing Haul

Sports Bras - £4 Each / 3pk Socks - £2 Each / Jacket - £12 / Running Shorts - £4 / Yoga Shorts - £4

Gym clothes can be so expensive when all you are essentially doing is throwing it on for an hour or so, sweating in it and paying for a logo. Primark is fast becoming my go to place for gym clothes. My local one has a pretty decent range that I'm pretty much tempted to buy the whole collection, naughty!

BodyCare Hair Haul!

For a little while now I've been contemplating growing my 'Frankie Style' hair out because I just never felt happy with how I looked with the style. However after talking to my boyfriend and hairdresser I came to the conclusion that I should probably make some more effort with it instead of just washing it and leaving it. In light of this I decided to watch some youtube videos (Amy Sass was my fave, I pretty much followed her every step!) and thus a haul ensued as well as some inspired experimentation!
BodyCare isn't somewhere I've ever shopped before but I thought I'd check it out and see if I get any bargains (success)

1. Rounded Bristle Hair Brush - £1.99 A perfect tool for getting some volume in my shortest side
2. Got2b Volumizing Styling Powder - £2.89 I love this for a nice lift at the root, plus you use the smallest amount for maximum umph!
3. Garnier Fructis Matte Gum - £2.59 This is a little GEM. I am in love! It is so light and non-sticky plus it smells so nice! I use the tiniest amount so this little pot is going to last such a long time!
4. Schwarzkopf Supersoft Volumising Mousse - £2.75 I haven't actually used this yet but I found the last volumising mousse a little sticky and heavy in my hair so I thought I'd try out a 'Supersoft' version.. we'll see..
5. Barry M Base Coat, Top Coat and Nail Strengthener - £2.99 - oops, this was a cheeky superdrug purchase that has snuck into this haul. Super looking forward to trying this bad boy out and seeing how good it really is.
6. Schwarzkopf Gliss Ultimate Volume Shampoo - £1 I am pretty much lamping on the volume based products these days so a shampoo is another important one. I massage this into my hair from the base of the back of my head right through to the roots and it definitely helps to add that little -Pre-styled- lift!

And now.. I LOVE MY HAIR!!

Mini Primark Haul!

 Shorts: £5
 Flip Flops: £1.50
Sandals: £4
Pumps: £6

My whole intention for going to Primark was actually to get some new work shoes as mine had fallen apart. Although I did actually get some shoes suitable for work I also managed to walk out with two other pairs of shoes and a pair of shorts. For £16.50 you can't really complain, they will all be well used when the summer eventually gets here..

Mini Haul!

I say Mini Haul as I only picked up a few things while out shopping the other day due to the fact I didn't really need anything but hey, when you walk past a superdrug its hard not to go in and spend some money. I went to Primark first and picked out a new bag for college, I'm only there for a few hours in the evening so the camel coloured tote will do nicely for chucking a folder in, I love the studded detail down the sides. I wanted to get some nice black shoes for wearing to dinners or outings that require dressing up a little, a cute pair for £6, nothing bad about that.
Superdrug was my next stop and with £7 worth of points on my card I took my time choosing a few products to try out. The two NYC "Quick Dry" shades both really caught my eye so I am looking forward to trying them out and seeing how nice they look on the nails as well as testing the quick drying-ness of them (review/cnl soon.) A new mascara out on the collection 2000 stand  so of course I'm going to give it a go, a review will be coming soon once I've had the chance to give it a try!
Hope you all have a lovely day today, sounds like its going to be a hot one. The air conditioning at work is broken so no doubt its going to be about 40 degrees on the top floor, its going to be a long 7 & a half hours!

Next up I headed to primark to see what they had to offer, surprisingly they have a lot of nice things in there at the moment yet I only picked up a couple of items, for now..

Sheer shirt

So looking forward to pairing this with some shorts and sandals in the summer sun!

White Shorts

Love love love these! white always makes you look more tanned and they go really well with the top above.
I also got a bandeau to go under the sheer shirt but its in the wash so no picture! it was £2.50

I'm too scared to look at my dwindling bank balance this month because I seem to be spending a lot of money! Roll on summer!

The Beauty Blogger Bandwagon!

It happens to all of us, we scroll through blogs we love and read many reviews of products that have been raved about by bloggers. They get us interested in a product and soon enough we are at the shop buying it, trying it and reviewing it ourselves. Within a couple of weeks products are everywhere across the bloggersphere and become the next best thing until the next one comes along. So here I am, waiting for the beauty bandwagon to roll past so I can hop on.
1. Collection 2000 cream puff lip cream in 'Cotton Candys' 2. Collection 2000 Lasting perfection concealer in '1 - Fair' 3. Revlon lip butters in 'Cotton Candy' and 'Cupcake' 4. Models Own x Headkandi nail varnish in 'Ibiza Mix'
These recent purchases is my way of gracefully leaping onto the beauty blogger bandwagon after seeing numerous amounts of reviews on them on various blogs. Guess what, I'm going to review them! (Bet you weren't expecting that)
1. So I'm a bit behind on the collection 2000 craze on the cream puff lip products and the lasting perfection concealer but I'm here now and I am loving them both! I would say the cream puff lip cream sits somewhere between a gloss and a lipstick, there needs to be more of these around because they are so good. It doesn't have the typical stickiness of a lipgloss which is a bonus for those windy days. The colours are fairly similar and limited to pinks but they are nice, I'd buy more. 2. When people said this concealer was their holy grail I wasn't so sure but as soon as I swatched this it was the perfect shade. I used it on a small section of my face and it covered the blemishes amazingly. It's limited to 2 or 3 shades which is a shame but it's cheap and it works like a dream. 3. Lip butters have been around the bloggersphere for the longest time as it took so long for them to be released over here in the UK. I'm so glad they did because I love them. The range of shades is vast which means there is a colour to suit everyone. I feel like they just melt onto your lips, leaving a sheer colour and a lot of moisture. Amazing. 4. I have wanted a thick glitter polish for ages and when the models own 'Ibiza Mix' rocks up over blogs I had to have it. It works perfect worn over any colour due to the range of coloured glitters in the bottle so its versatile and so pretty!

Birthday Shopping Haul

Me and my mum took a trip down (or up?) to Westfield Stratford for a serious dose of retail therapy and a chance for me to spend some of the pennies I got for my birthday on Monday. It is amazing there, we spent about 4 hours wondering around three floors and still managed to miss out a tonne of shops. We already have plans to go back soon, especially as there is a Victoria's Secret being built!
Blazer; missguided. Top; boohoo.com. Leggings; New Look. Boots; Schuh. Bag; New Look
I decided to dress fairly comfy so I went for leggings, a plain slightly cropped t-shirt and yes I am wearing leggings as trousers, I am sorry if that offends anyone but they are thick and you can't see my underwear through them! I went for my favourite cowboy boots and my new satchel, a birthday present to myself.
MAC. My first ever trip into a legit mac store, instead of a counter in debenhams. Took me nearly 10 minutes to find someone to help me but eventually I chose two eyeshadows for my pallet. On the left is 'Stars'N'Rockets' and on the right is 'Digit'. I successfully moved away from the neutrals and onto some actual colour! Both £10. BOOTS. 3 for 2 deals suck me in and force me to spend money. I chose three lip products I've wanted to try for a while, Collection 2000's Cream puff lipgloss in 'Candyfloss' a deepish pink colour (£2.99), A revlon lip butter in 'Cupcake' a light frosty pink shade (£7.99) and 17 beauty crush lipstain in 'Bombshell' a deep pink (4.99). HOLLISTER. I was determined not to buy any clothes from hollister and I succeeded (yay me!) instead I bought some of their body products purely because someone had sprayed this one and it smelt beautiful and fruity, my favourite. I chose the 'Solana beach' range, they were £10 each or three for £18 so I picked up the body spray, hand lotion and body lotion.
PULL&BEAR. I've never been in this shop before and I spotted so many things I wanted to buy but I settled on this jumper. I loved the pastel blue and pink on a cream background with the tribal-esq print. Already planning to pair this with some pale pink hot pants on the warmer days. (£19.99) NEXT. I love next bikini's so when I spotted this one I just had to have it! I love the pink and navy blue stripes together, very Jack Wills. I'm going to pair this with plain pink or navy bottoms I think. (£14) FOREVER21. I spotted this skirt on the end of the returns rack outside the fitting room, I hadn't seen it anywhere in the store and it was in my size, fate? I think so. It reminds me of something Mollie King (The Saturday's) wears and she is pretty much my style icon so I had to have it really (£14.75). I really loved the style of the sandals with the white and gold detailing. Me and mum recently decided on a holiday so I'm thinking ahead to how good they will look with a tan! (£6)
So I didn't get a massive amount and I still have money to spare so more hauls soon!

In other news I have leapt gracefully onto the Instagram bandwagon now its available on android (hooray!) so if you've got it then please follow me, my username is: ITSCHARRX I will be forever grateful and of course follow you back!

Bicester Village Haul

A couple of weeks ago I went on a adventure trip to Bicester Village and was treated and treated myself to a few purchases because I was in a mood for burning some money, we all get that feeling sometimes right..? I haven't done a haul for a while so I figured why not show you what I ended up with.
First up makeup! The main place I like to go in Bicester is the Cosmetics Company Store for some bargain priced MAC products!
I chose two sets from previous collections, not sure which, from last year I believe. The first set is the Fabulously Festive Face Kit/Warm. This collection included small pallet with 4 eyeshadows in Golden Flurry, Soft Brown, Omega and Carbon and when you slide the eyeshadows out they reveal a peachy pink blush in 'Seasonal Appeal' I really love the top of the pallet because it has a dome on top with snow globe like glitter effect if you shake it. As well as the pallet the collection contained a frost lipstick in 'Mellowarm' which is a deep pink colour and a lipglass in 'Join the Party.' There are also three mini brushes the 266, 275 and 129.
Next up I got the Iced delights eye bag/Pearl. This came with a eyeshadow duo with 'Taupeless' and 'Celestial Black' as well as a technakohl liner in 'Purple Dash' and the zoom fast black lash mascara I have wanted for a while. This collection came with another mini 275 brush. I'm not a fan of the bag it all came in as it looks and feels a little cheap but the products in side more than make up for it.
I took a trip to Cath Kidston and picked up a selection of make up bags, I was really impressed with these bags because of the discounted prices and because they are wipe clean inside, its the little things.. Plus it has an adorable pattern on it!
Finally, a trip to Jack Wills. Now I'm not a massive Jack Wills fan but I spotted a couple of nail varnishes a turquoise blue and bright pink. I am wearing the blue now and it has lasted surprisingly well. I also got two highlighters because they were £1 and I use them in my blog book a lot.

So that's my Bicester haul! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Collective Haul

Recently I have been doing a little bit of 'sale' shopping, since I have put myself on a beauty spending ban I have turned to clothes and accessories. I am thinking ahead to those spring/summer months as well as having a little change of style in regards to wearing prettier more feminine t-shirts. This haul has been accumulated over  a couple of weeks and I have to put it out there that my mum paid for a couple of bits as she was buying a lot of stuff at the time and I managed to slip a few items in her pile, slyy.. The rest was all purchased with my own money! I have to say, if you aren't interested in Haul posts then please just close the page, I'm not forcing you to read this post.

Last week a put in a small Accessorize order after seeing that most of their sale items had been reduced by up to 70% as an attempt to shift it all. I was pretty impressed with the bargain prices for some really nice items!
Ipad Case - WAS £25, NOW £7.50!
The main reason I went on Accessorize was because I had been eyeing this up in the shop a couple of times. It was reduced from £25 to £18 to £12 then to £7.50. I decided that I might as well get it for a price like that!
Cable Knit Tights - WAS £12 (each), NOW £3.60 (each)
I chose these purely because I was in need of tights and because they were so cheap. The cable knit design makes them cuter looking than a plain cream or grey pair of tights.
Cord Bracelet - WAS £14, NOW £4.20
I chose this bracelet because it reminded me of the bracelet my boyfriend wears, which he made himself and is more boyish, without the beads obviously. It's really pretty and simple to wear everyday as well as having a girly touch with the shiny beads tied in around it.

Now onto the clothes I (and my mum) purchased from Debenhams and those clothes I purchased from Hollister and River Island.

Playsuit - River Island - £40
I saw this while out shopping with my best friend the other day and really liked. The collar and the waist detail is so cute plus the button waist gives a nice definition. I really want to wear this, hurry up sun!

Plaid Shirt - Hollister - WAS £44, NOW £22.90
I have been looking for a shirt like this for a long time and am planning on adding a few styles like this to my wardrobe. When I spotted this one under those dim lights in hollister and saw the current price I decided it was a must have. For a hollister shirt I think £22.90 is pretty reasonable. I'm planning on wearing this with denim shorts and a tank top on the cooler spring summer days.
Shirt - Debenhams - £32
This was the last one of these shirts left and it was in my size so I like to think it was meant to be. I really like the collar detail and the sheer sleeves. I think this shirt could be worn from day to night depending on how its dressed up which I will be experimenting with at some point.
Heart Jumper - Debenhams - £32
My parents actually spotted this jumper for me a couple of weeks ago and thought I would love it, they are right. It's a cream colour with a black block at the bottom and a giant pink heart, what more could you want. I chose a size 8 but it is still quite baggy so I suggest sizing down if you wanted to get this. I can't wait to wear this!
Shirt dress - Debenhams - £30
This is my favourite item I chose. I saw it on a manikin and in a poster and thought it looked so pretty on. The picture does it no justice so expect an outfit of the day including this. The shoulder, pockets and button outline are all gold lined which is such a nice contrast to the navy blue. It has a fabric tie around the waist to help define it and also comes with a slip as the shirt is completely sheer. I am so excited to wear this and hopefully pull it off as well as the manikin!

I am now not spending any more money until pay day next month!
